Who We Are
About Caloundra Men's Shed
A non-profit community organisation providing a safe, friendly meeting place for men — in a beautiful bush setting in Moffat Beach, Caloundra.
Our Story
A Place for Men to Belong
The Caloundra Men's Shed is a fully incorporated, non-commercial community organisation. We provide a safe and friendly meeting place for men to work on projects in the company of other men.
With over 70 members, our Shed serves as a hub for social interaction, skill-sharing and meaningful project work. Whether you're interested in woodworking, metalworking, or simply enjoying a friendly chat over tea or coffee, there's something for everyone here.
Our supervised environment allows members to work at their own pace and explore their interests while fostering a strong sense of belonging and community.
We are located in the Moffat Beach Industrial Estate — a lovely site that backs onto a nature reserve and creek. Big tools, small tools, tools galore — and sometimes we just solve the world's issues while chatting in the sun.
What Drives Us
Our Values
Pick up new skills from experienced members at your own pace — no pressure, no judgment.
Share the skills you already have. Passing on knowledge is one of the most valued things at the shed.
Share tools, ideas, stories and mateship. The shed is a community in the truest sense.
Come for the work, stay for the conversation. A cuppa in the sun goes a long way.

Our Affiliations
Part of Something Bigger
We are fully incorporated and affiliated with both the Australian Men's Shed Association (AMSA) and the Queensland chapter — connecting us to a national network of over 1,000 Men's Sheds across the country.
The Men's Shed movement was established to respond to a growing national need for suitable places for men to socialise, learn, participate, contribute and have fun. The positive health and wellbeing outcomes are well known — and our community benefits significantly too.
"The Men's Shed Association was established to respond at a local level to a growing national need for suitable places for men to socialise, learn, participate, contribute and have fun."
